Some quick revisions based on your suggestions.

Personally not a fan of the over-extended ascender. (I think I actually prefer the original, but A is nice as well.)
I second Dan's comments.
I like version a better. Agree with Dan and Antoine.
It's not very likely we'll go with B, but the two concepts shown here are based on the two ideas (suggested in the original shot) that I try.
One more vote for A.
I also vote for A.
Vote for A.
I have to say I like the original....
But if it's between these two...I like A
Seeing both shots for the first time, I think the original shot has more energy with the change in angle on the flag vs the type.
Because these new shots do have a more integrated look they feel more like a stand alone logo instead of the brand extension they really are (well, that's my assumption of where you're trying to go with this anyway).
A vs B? A. But overall, original looks really great, nice work!
I really like "B" it's cleaver and just works.
Top one for me, 2nd one is a little cheesy.
I still like the original the best where the angle of the flag contrasts the angle of the script.
Big A for me!
I prefer A, both over B and the original. In the original the flag appears disjointed due to its direction, and now in A it feels more a part of the logo. B, while being well done, is a bit too clever and distracts by becoming the focus.
Another vote for A.
A works the best in my opinion.
Going to throw a spanner in the works and say I really like B.
@Chris Wallace: Alright, do share... what's C look like? :)
