My sister asked me to draw her wedding invitations. Drew each piece independently, took pics with my iphone, then live traced in AI, then brought the pieces together. Still much more to do....

Beautiful. I've been putting off buying a scanner thinking I can just take pics of drawings with my iPhone, as you've done.
Would you feel comfy going with a phone as your only 'scanner'?

Well, the iPhone won't replace a rad flat bed, but for my hand drawn stuff that I need to convert to AI, it seems to be doing the trick. I'm going to scan all NY illustrations today and then live trace and see the difference. I actually hate live trace, but I'm lazy and don't want to pen tool all this detail :)
