That animation is sooo sweet! A lot of stuff in here I can steal (not borrow).. *cough*..
Nice dude, this turned out great.
Very nice, love those animations.
NOW WITH KEYBOARD SUPPORT! :-P
Cool! You should put in cooldown animations.
@Jonathan Shariat Meh, I'll let our engineers do that, haha. We already have that stuff working in the game. I just wanted to get the other basic animations and functional animations polished and solid. BUT if you want to see those, go play KingsRoad right now!
@Johnny Waterman Very cool, what all do you work in PS? any 3d?
I work mainly in Photoshop and Flash. Sometimes After Effects, Particle Illusion and Timeline FX. I've only dabbled in 3D.
*Edit* I also work a lot in Spotify
@Johnny Waterman Nice and yes I work in Spotify as well, I use it too keep focus and pace hehe.
@Pedja Rusic thurnks mern.
Very nice! Why numbers and letters mixed in same bar though? Just curious.
@Edwin Delgado the slots are functionally different. One is for consumables and the others are for abilities. It's easier to use hot keys that are in the same vicinity than to stretch them out across the keyboard. 1,2,3,4,q,w,e,r is much more functional and quick to use than 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 because of finger spread and how far a typical person can move around the keyboard quickly.
@Johnny Waterman very cool man! and digging that experience bar
That should be an option on all games. I know some will still prefer only numbers, but options is always the best approach. Great work man!
Yeah, I want to push for options. It's a challenge with browser games to go in a direction that shares similar attributes to your typical boxed AAA games. People in this space are skeptical to make certain changes that may confuse users. It's a challenge at times to find a happy medium between the two.
I think our game is big enough that in time, it will need a real options menu.
You are the man. Just saying.
