Trying to decide between these 2 logo variations with web designer Rob Turlinckx. The aim is something friendly, clean and modern with some personalised details. The s-t in the first one has a bit of a 'twist' to it, but the second creates a subtle heart shape (passion, care, etc.) Feedback appreciated!
Thanks very much for the great feedback! I think the first one is more interesting in terms of its shape, but I agree that the second is more natural and looks friendlier as it's more rounded.. Ahh, decisions!
Nice work CLaire! Like both but prefer the second one. S-T' twist in this version is in common rhythm with the rest letters. I guess it is more organic and natural as Jan said.
Thanks very much for the helpful comments! It's great to get thoughtful opinions.
The second one seems the more popular choice and having a natural flow is definitely really important. I do also agree with James on the first one though.. Rob could always alternate :D Thanks again all!
Yes, thanks all for the helpful comments!
I also slightly prefer the second one, with his more natural flow. But I also agree with Jonathan and James. :D
Looks like I'm with everyone else on the (#1 > interest / #2 > natural flow). Between the 2 I guess I'll throw in for #2...but as always, excellent work all around Claire! :)
I like the second one much better. The top one seems a bit squished--maybe it's just the weight of that stroke? I love the 've' in Olive, how excellent!
Cheers for the observations! Very much appreciated. Haha Joe and Mads, I was starting to think both too. Think we're going with the 2nd one (once I fix that how-did-I-miss-it too tight spacing between the i and the s-t.. along with some other things).
Thanks again everyone for taking the time to comment, it's been really helpful! Will post the final version soon.

The s-t in the second version seems more "natural" and friendly. So 2nd one!

I'm going to have to vote for the top one, I think it fits the brand better - I agree the second seems more natural though

Good job Claire ! I like both but I think the second one is more appropriate. The ligature seems natural like Romain said.

The second does look more natural but the first one has a certain flair and panache to it that really comes alive.

I feel better and more natural flow in 2nd one. Twist in 2nd seems to me simplier and touches me more emotionally. Great job on this!

Awesome job!
#2 all the way! More natural and more "twisty" imo! #1 stops the flow.

The second version is perfect. Like typo logotypes.

second one or remove it :)
It needs an olive!
May I suggest adding a short/tiny stem on top of the O?

Hi Davy,
Thanks for the comment :D. Though I didn't want to reflect too much of an olive in it. But thanks for the suggestion.
