I don't often get the chance to show and discuss rejected work, so I'm taking the chance to do it now: this is an unpolished identity proposal that never came to be, for a classic-rock music-band.
I'll admit the concept was a bit stretched: FEVO stands for Fast Evolution, so I proposed using only vintage stock photos, straight from The Commons (yeah, that's pretty much it). Funnily enough, looking back at the entire thing, there's something I still really like about it.

I dig this man...i can see how it would be rejected due to communication not being 100% crystal, but the idea and overall aesthetic i think is cool. I Like the stretched E giving you that feeling of movement. I could see this going with a vintage inspired clothing brand more than a band though...like a J Crew's 2nd cousin or a shop that sells high end vintage jeans or something.
