@Rich Baird hey Richard, thank you for your feedback. I think it would be better as you said, but forgive my mistake as I still learn these :) I'll get back to this when I'll have some time.

I noticed you specified a CMYK value on your presentation but it's likely to come out very dull and not as vivid as this. Have you thought about using a spot colour instead?

Love the etched illustrative style and letter-pressed aesthetic set against the contemporary colour palette. The pig is really nicely rendered, seems to cut neatly through the clockwise rotation of the frame.

Interesting, I certainly understand how you've communicated the technical aspect of the company but don't quite get its relationship with the sun, land and water. Does it specialise in environmental/sustainable design?

@Rich Baird You take it so serious man :) I've had couple of types from client, that they use and own and I've picked best from them.

Of course I do, this is our profession but I never intended to be overtly serious, just interested.
I believe type is just as important and as communicative as the mark and as such deserves a process itself. I've had clients choose typefaces in the past and regretted it so spend a lot of time discussing with them what aspect they want to communicate across each asset, this usually gets them thinking about how appropriate their choices are in comparison to mine. Ultimately I think a designer has to take responsibility for everything that comes out of their office.
The alternative version does suit the mark a lot better, its consistent line weight feels suitably technical while the rounded terminals appear friendly/accessible.
When you say 'product studio', do you mean product design?

So your client knows more about typefaces than you do? Did you challenge them with a clear rationale for your choice? And what did they think this selection conveyed?
