Found a button graphic I made a while back using just a circle shape layer and every layer effect available, although I don't remember why.

@Jason Kirtley If you could see the full screen the background pattern works very well.
@Mike Beecham Part by hand, part stock, but I made the repeating pattern.

I couldn't even tell you why I was sketching this thing... I've never been to New Jersey, let alone Atlantic City. Maybe because I watched Rounders and So I Married an Axe Murdered recently, I have zero clue but it was fun nonetheless. ;)

@Joshua Krohn Yep, will need to finesse that. I'm just focusing on the design at this point. This is all Photoshop.
@Steve Schoger Thanks for that suggestion. I tried that at first, but it actually helps to give those icons a different treatment when you see the page in it's entirety. Going vector/line-based the icons get lost and this colorful style adds depth. I am however making a correlation between the two by using the same subject matter.

A site re-design that I started last year with @adamholz for local Austin foodie legend @souppeddler had a soft launch today: www.souppeddler.com/. There's still lots of front-end tweaking to do, but it's alive and working (with integrated eCommerce).
I just wanted to add that Prova was created for (and inspired by) this project. My intention was to sprinkle it alongside other hand-crafted fonts (i.e. Clumsy) throughout the site to create cohesion with the homepage rotator, functional tools and important information. Also, it was an absolute delight to work on this with David (client) and Adam (dev).
Lastly, just to be absolutely clear, (the Soup Peddler's) Soup (really) is (delicious and amazing) Love.
See attachment for the full comp of the home page.

We recently launched a coming soon page for "SurgeryLink", a client project we're working on at Element. We plan on sharing more about the client work we're working on next week.
