    Join celebrated designer, illustrator, and CONTINO creative director Jon Contino for an intimate workshop on establishing a creative business your way.

    In this session you'll be privy to Jon's insights on everything from how to best brand yourself, the gritty details of wrangling contracts and invoices, plus dogged ways to be efficient—as well as cost effective—in all your new business choices.

    In this intimate workshop, Matt will unpack one of his own design projects from beginning to end, providing a live case study which focuses on his trusted best practices for finding clients, establishing scope and pricing, and seeing a project through from milestone to asset handoff.

    Intro to Dimensional Typography with Danielle Evans

    Wrap your brain and hands around lettering with everyday items. In this tongue-in-cheek two hour class, Danielle Evans teaches students at all experience levels the forgiving nature of food and object type, a perfect intro to hand lettering. Create two final pieces from start to finish and snag videos, boomerangs, and wipes for social channels. Learn to align your message with the chosen materials, follow your intuition, and take calculated risks. Leave with sticky fingers and new perspectives to inform your current workflow. Snacks included. Seats are limited!

In this informal hour-long session we'll have creative leads and hiring managers from design-forward New York companies field questions about the tips, tricks, and best practices that working designers can utilize as they get ready to take the next leap in their careers.
