   So I am working on an experimental services page for the redesign of the Highland Marketing website and I'm looking for some feedback. The idea is to show the different service areas that we provide, which data being the core "hub" that drives them all.

   You can check out the page here.

   I have a number of concerns, mostly having to do with usability. Right now, the user has to click on an service to bring up a separate little dialog box about that service. It works, but I have the following concerns

   1. It may not be immediately clear that each area is clickable
   2. The very fact that it needs to be clicked introduced an extra step between the user and the content
   3. I considered using hover instead of click , but the layout aspect of the design would make this detrimental to usability. If I hovered over one service while trying to get to the next, the modal for the first hovered element would pop up.

   Like I said, this is just experimental, so it will definitely change and evolve over time.

   I'm also trying to figure out a solution that will work responsively. I've built some basic breakpoints into this already, but it's not fully responsive yet (at certain widths it breaks badly).

   Any thoughts, comments, suggestions or rebounds would be appreciated!

    @Gert van Duinen thanks for the feedback. All excellent suggestions! Thanks so much. The outline worked well on my initial sketch, but I agree that it should probably go now. I'll have a go at making some changes and rebound it as soon as possible.

    Well, since you asked for some feedback, I think you already did a great job on this which is worth pursuing. The lettering definitely doesn't need the outerline, you should get rid of it immediately! ;)

    Also, I personally think the uppercase U doesn't need those spikes pointing to the other side and there should be a little bit more space between the U and n. I'd also try to make "an' and "tale" in the same style and maybe try out a another layout. the "an" may be increased in size a little bit too.

    Moreover, I love the curl you made on the g and the left part of U needs to be a little bit thinner, compared to the rest of the letters. With these tiny adjustments I think you got yourself a winner here Matt. Really love the playful curves of this lettering.

    This is a concept that I am working on for a more custom logotype for my An Unfolding Tale project. First draft, still probably have a lot of tweaking to do.

    Anton, yeah you're totally right on that one. The kerning isn't the best and Photoshop messes it up even worse when using type on a path. Thanks for the pointer!

    Thanks, Brad. I may do something like that. Was thinking about doing a tablet trace right in Photoshop.
