@David Kovalev Thanks! I believe they always debut at least some form of iOS beta at WWDC in June. The description on the landing page reads "Get an in-depth look at what’s next in iOS and OS X".

People think they hate skeuomorphism. They don't. They hate the annoying, eye-sandpaper textures and communicative non sequiturs that Apple has used on several of their less-than-stellar products. Skeuomorphism is an important tool for conveyance (visual communication of purpose and function without the need for a manual or constant reminders), and is a great way to alleviate the learning curve with something new by providing a visual metaphor.
This mockup demonstrates perfectly how the Apple's visual style, skeuomorphism and all, can effectively communicate intended use and and available functionality without getting in its own way.
