Looks really nice! Some feedback [if you want it]:
* The cracks in the glass should cast faint, faint shadows onto the white backing. The light doesn't pass straight through the material in cracked or warped areas, so you'll get some shadowing [like the water droplets in the shadow here].
* The bumps on the metal of needle should probably be catching more light, given the angle of the light [visible in the shadow] and the strength of the highlight on the top edge. With bumpy, shiny objects you'll get a lot of little speckly highlights where the texture is angled right. Right now, the face of the needle is almost matte, despite the strength of the metal highlight on the edge.

Practice makes perfect - I keep working with amtosphere and textures including metal. Nothing can top a spare moment dedicated to improving your skills! :)

@Mike | Creative Mints| Creative Mints agreed, I love old fashioned things because of the warmth. You've captured it well, here :)

Natural wood, metal and flickering light behind the glass make for the coziest atmosphere in my opinion, what do you think? :) I tried to pay special attention to textures and materials here.
........
By the way, as I mentioned before I started this new blog recently where I will try to post some articles, tutorials, notes on design and tools. I probably won't be posting everyday but I promise to keep you guys entertained! -
