   The new Game Center icon for Jaku iPhone Edition. As many of you know, with the recent release of the new jailbreak, Jaku (available in Cydia) has seen some big changes. The first order of business is to retouch and polish some of the 1st generation icons.

   This version of GC was heavily inspired by @Mike | Creative Mints| Creative Mints|@Mike | Creative Mints who does some truly amazing work with the medieval genre. Having an affinity for all that kind of stuff myself (old-school RPGs, to which this pays homage), I am always really inspired by his work. Another artist, @Dash, also had a hand in this, as he always pushes the envelope with radical new designs and metaphors. Sometimes they miss, but as Edison once said after being criticized for taking over 200 attempts to make the lightbulb: "no I didn't waste my time, I now know 200 different ways not to make a lightbulb." Knowing what to do often involves knowing what not to do.

   Hats off to those two great sources of inspiration. This one will be available in the next update (TBD). Enjoy.
