I really love this. The only thing I would say (and it might just be because of this perspective) is that Design needs to be closer, or they all need to be farther away. :-)

Icon for the app that I (planned) to spend about 10 hours making. So far I've spent about 13 hours on the app and about 90 minutes on the icon. Close enough!

... my absolutely favorite ampersand!
A few words regarding this outstandingly beautiful example of a »Classical French Didot Style Ampersand«:
This ampersand is part of a replica of the legendary»Pistilli Roman« typeface, collaboratively designed by Herb Lubalin and John Pistilli between 1949 and 1964.
(you may find its history here: http://blogs.walkerart.org/design/2007/12/26/pistilli-roman/)In March 2009 »Veer« released a replica of this typeface, designed by Jason Walcott (JUKEBOX). When I purchased the license—I think it was two days after its release—the name of the font file, respectively the name of the typeface, was »Pistilli Roman«. A few days later the same »Pistilli Roman Replica« was renamed to »Eloquent«—maybe for trademark or copyright reasons. Today—as type obsessed nerd—I’m proud to have the original, »Pistilli Roman« named font file of this replica on my hard disk.
Currently I’m working on a logo for my personal T-shirt with this ampersand in use.

Beautiful. What I love most is I haven't seen this done with "UX" in the middle. You nailed it.

Really digging these colours. I feel like the orange-ish glow is making it a bit too muddy, but it could be because it's a photo. A way to solve that could be to just knock the opacity down about 10-20%. Other than that, I'm loving it. The colour palette bar that's generated by dribbble from this shot is gorgeous.
