This is an events feed for ANGA that will showcase the 5 main events they promote. You can registar for the event straight from the home page. This action was necessary because the client is using a 3rd party system to manage the registration. Also since there's only 5 main events a year, most members of the organization already know they are going to attend. Putting a register button up front gives them direct access when they need it.

This is a over simplified navigation menu. The client had a ton of links they needed to put in the top area. There just wasn't enough space, so I created this simple dropdown menu that allows us to hide menus until they're needed. That lives the user three main options for how they want to navigate the site: search box, by department, or static content pages.
The slider below also allows for easy entrance into the catalog by using clickable hot spots linking directly to products.

The comp with designed in browser. The pictures that make up the background of the header are collected from an instagram feed using #hueytown. The hashtag is promoted at city events and high school sports events. Pictured are actually saved to a database in WordPress and saved as pending review so the client doesn't get inappropriate images on their site.

This is a comp I did for a local Iron worker. They are top quality crafters. I was even able to go down to the shop and make something myself. This was an awesome project.
