   This is good, I like it a lot, there can also be many variations of this. I would shift the color of those shadows on the wood to something more red (dark brown) and also darken the area where the fork touches those slices; if that makes any sense. It's a little confusing; it doesn't really look like the fork goes through the slices unless you zoom in to seen what's going on. Not the best example but still:
