The WHJJ: The West Hempstead Journal, before the comprehensive acquisition and annexation of a previous publication on 09/01/20, it served as a vital source of news and culture. It was issued 6—10 times annually to align with Yomim Tovim and other Jewish holidays. The publication's reach extended to over 25,000 families in West Hempstead, The Five Towns, Far Rockaway, Great Neck, Oceanside, Long Beach, Queens, and numerous other Jewish communities in the vicinity. The recent surge of over 700 new families into the West Hempstead Community, almost doubling its size, highlighted the crucial need for a dedicated community paper. Expanding its scope nationally, the WHJJ connected thousands of readers from Los Angeles to Florida, offering a glimpse into what is now known as "The New West Hempstead."
