Peard - Case study

Pears come in many shapes and sizes

Some varieties like Abate are elongated, while others like Comice are short. Asian varieties like Nashi are round, and some other are more like... well, pears. The challenge was to figure out an abstract yet detailed enough shape to be a vessel for all of them.

A pear a day, finds you a date straight away

Despite our increased connectivity, forming healthy relationships and deeper connections has become challenging in our modern age. However, human connections continue to provide us with a sense of acceptance, identity, and companionship. Additionally, there are those who seek more casual connections as well.

Peard, a two-platform dating app, offers a unique solution to this modern problem by separating users looking for a soulmate from those looking for casual meetings. This approach helps users find the type of connection they desire in a more efficient and effective way.

A color system inspired by pears

Unlike many other fruits, pears have a wide palette of alluring colors ranging from chartreuse green to crimson red. Sometimes they're a canvas for an enticing blend of two colors offering inspiration for vibrant gradients.
